The largest event of its kind in northern Europe
Take a look and enjoy!
It's a festival, but instead of alcohol, we bring thousands of excited youths!
NärCon Sommar is the only event of it's kind. It's a festival, like Roskilde or Tomorrowland; but instead of drinking and watching bands, our visitors make new friends, cosplay and play games together. Taking place in Linköping, Sweden, every year at the end of July, it gathers 10.000 unique visitors from all over Europe. The festival offers over 500 different activities, lectures, tournaments and live shows the attendees can participate in. Among the highlights you'll find the Nordic Cosplay Championship, broadcasted live on national television.
The social atmosphere is what truly defines it. You won't meet a single person who isn't happy to see you and excited to get to know you. Check out our aftermovie from last year's event, and you'll see what we mean!
Don't take it from us. Find out what our previous guests have said.

"Ellen and I had a BLAST at NärCon! The fans were great and the con is run with a very high level of professionalism. The production values on the closing ceremony were top notch AND we got to make a cool video!"
Svetlana visited us in July 2016 and came back the following year.

"NärCon totally blew me away. The warm and welcoming atmosphere felt just like my very first convention in 2003 - the one that made me fall in love with this wonderful community. My personal highlight was the NCC [Nordic Cosplay Championship], which was just amazingly high quality. It’s rare to see such a professionally executed yet deeply emotional contest. Thanks to everybody involved and I hope to see you all again soon!"
